Meet Dr. Alexis Blue-Wilson

Hello everyone! I am Dr. A and I am so glad you chose to visit us at Our Journey, His Plan. I am a native of Fayetteville, North Carolina where I met my wonderful husband, Richard.
My husband and I have been pregnant 3 times since 2018. 3 times I got a positive pregnancy test...3 times we thought about names (and once we actually chose one)…3 times I looked at my belly and thought about the future our child would have. But...3 times I was left broken and childless. The subject of infertility and child loss is so hard to talk about. This is true, not only for the parents who have experienced the loss, but also for those around them who may not know what to say or how to act. The Lord has called me to share our journey with infertility and child loss with as many people as I can reach. TRUST me when I say this is NOT MY PLAN, BUT HIS. I’m obviously a pretty private person as many of my family, friends, and associates didn’t know I was ever pregnant, but this isn’t about me anymore. It’s about touching lives and sharing my journey with those around me. Our Journey, His Plan dives into loss, grief, therapy, the medical side, and so much more. I have been blessed enough to recruit some of my dearest family and friends, old and new, to help me out with the subject. As nervous as I am, I look forward to following His Plan as I share Our Journey. *Takes a deep breath* So here...we...go... |
